Your kindly reminder to vote if you haven’t already. My household voted early. Feels good.
For DECADES I didn’t tell people who I voted for. That has changed.
It’s clear Donald Trump isn’t supporting women’s rights. He doesn’t care about our boundaries, health, or autonomy. But if that doesn’t sway you perhaps Harrison Ford’s message will. It sums it up pretty well. Not because he’s Harrison Ford and I’m a Star Wars fan but because these words echo my feelings. They echo the words and actions I’ve seen.

Dozens of Trump’s own executive branch officials along with loyal lifelong Republicans who worked closely with Trump don’t support him. People like John Bolton, Dan Coats, Mark Esper, General John F. Kelly, Jim Mattis, General Mark Milley, Mike Pence and dozens more … These aren’t weak individuals all trying to sell books or who got their feelings hurt in some way. These are strong, smart, knowledgable individuals. They care about our country. And the sheer number of them speaking out and not supporting their former boss is something that has never been seen before. This isn’t a fluke. It’s an alarm bell.
Democrat, Republican, or Independent, if their opinions don’t concern you or sway you then perhaps Trump’s own words will.

And if you’re still not sure.
And take another look at some January 6 footage. These aren’t peaceful tourists. This event is another thing we’ve never seen before. A threat to the peaceful transfer of power that has been the hallmark of all our elections… until 2021. If you support these people, stop for a moment and imagine if J6 was conducted by the other party. What would you think then? Mr. Trump had no evidence that the election was stolen. All these years later and he still doesn’t.
Then watch Harrison Ford and Jimmy Kimmel again.
The choice is clear.
Kamala Harris quite moderate. Fox News would like you to believe she’s far left, but in reality she’s not. We don’t have to agree on all policies. But we can agree that working together is good for our future. For our continuing representative democracy. For our economy. Many economists agree her plan is better for the economy than Trump’s. Harris is better for regular, working-class Americans. That’s most of us!
If you still can’t manage a vote for Kamala Harris, remember you don’t have to vote for Trump. You can even write in your own preference.
But vote.
